Where the guides come from
Not from keyword tools. On 28 August 2026 we read 500 posts across r/NewTubers, r/PartneredYoutube, r/YouTubeCreators, r/SmallYoutubers and r/youtubers, and counted what creators were actually posting about.
73 algorithm anxiety · 52 early stage · 51 packaging craft · 44 money · 30 seeking validation · 24 stalled growth · 4 brand deals
Two findings shaped everything since. The most-discussed thread across five creator communities was “How do you personally deal with hate comments?”, at 125 comments, beating every tactical thread on the board. And algorithm anxiety outnumbered brand deals seventy-three to four.
Those people are frightened about reach and they are lonely. They are not shopping for a monetisation partner. A guide that opens with revenue talks past them, so ours do not.
How we write them
In the words creators use. “Getting views”, “long form”, “youtube studio”, “thumbnail”. Not “content optimisation” or “audience funnels”, which are words for a conference and nobody types them into a search bar at midnight after a video flops.
Each guide gets one call to action, once, in the middle, framed as a way to find which pattern you are in. Never as the point of the article. If a guide only works because it sells something at the end, it was not a guide.
What these guides will not do
They will not promise a number. Nobody who has read your analytics for ten minutes can tell you what your next video will do, and anybody who says otherwise is selling something.
They will not tell you the algorithm changed. It is the explanation people reach for when the real cause is uncomfortable and specific, and the real cause is almost always specific.
They will not recycle a tactic that worked for a channel unlike yours. The useful question is which pattern you are in, and that is a different question for every channel.
